Cellulite is usually categorised as visible lumpy and uneven skin, with that characteristic ‘orange peel’ texture. It is caused by the fibrous connective tissue cords that pull the skin to the underlying muscle, and the deposits of fats in between these cords. It is most commonly seen clinging to the backs of the legs, across hips, or concentrated on the bottom, although other areas include the stomach, hips and arms.
